Welcome to November 2022! Fall is coming to a beautiful end with the foliage gently floating to the earth, just waiting for our rakes and blowers. The mums continue to bloom brightly and as we continue to decorate for harvest season with pumpkins, squash and cornstalks.
This is a season when we begin to reflect on the year past; on what we are grateful for; and how we will finalize our year. How will you be celebrating this holiday season? There is a lot coming up in the next month or so…will you remember to take some time for yourself? Will you remember to put your recovery in the forefront?
Self-care and Recovery are very important, and as we move into the holidays, it is essential to make sure you are taking the time for them. Remember that Safe Harbor Recovery Center is here for you to assist with that and more!
Don’t forget to VOTE on November 8th!!
We will be OPEN on Veterans Day, November 11th.
We will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving, November 24th. Please enjoy this holiday safely with family and friends.

Community Elf Holiday Program 2022
It is that time of the year when we are gearing up for our Community Elf Holiday Program. Each year, Safe Harbor Recovery Center encounters families in need of assistance for the Christmas holiday. Our goal is to find “community elves” to adopt each family.
Anyone interested in adopting a family is welcome to participate! Please contact me through email hbedard@granitepathways.org or contact me at 603-570-9806 at Safe Harbor Recovery Center. If you know a family who receives any service through a Granite Pathways program and is in need of assistance this season, please have them contact me as well.
Anyone in need of participating in the program as a recipient can also contact Heidi Bedard at hbedard@granitepathways.org or 603-570-9444. Applications for participants/recipients are due no later than November 15th. Recipients must be receiving services through one of the Granite Pathways programs throughout the State of NH.
Elves will have at least 2 weeks to complete their shopping. Gifts will not need to be wrapped when delivered to the center for distribution – we take care of all of the details such as wrapping, coordination to the families, etc.
In 2021, with the help of 8 Amazing Community Elves we were able to assist 8 families with a total of 15 children and their caregivers!! At this time we already have 6 families on our list and 3 elves. Let’s make this year special for even more families!! Thank you in advance for all your help! We so appreciate all the support you all have given over the years and continue to provide!
For more information to be an Elf or a Participant/Recipient contact Heidi Bedard at 603-570-9806 or hbedard@granitepathways.org by November 17th.
